BOCA recently opened in the Dubai International Financial Centre and serves innovative Spanish, French and Italian food. This was used as inspiration to develop the brand. 

BOCA was chosen as the name, a simple word that is easy to pronounce. It also means mouth in Spanish, and the French and Italian are similar. The tagline ‘word of mouth’ is a play on reputation marketing and was used as a teaser on the restaurant hoarding during the build phase.

Secondary graphics were developed to further enhance the origins of the food; trilingual phrases in a contemporary lock up and a repeat O graphic based on the Olives of the Mediterranean. These can be seen across all consumer touch points from stationery, menus, interiors, website, advertising and social media.
